Today we’re bringing our focus to Vishuddha. Located in our throat center, Vishuddha is the house of our communication. It governs our ability to express our feeling and needs, and houses our lies both internal & external. Good morning, it’s Zoë again from One Beet. Today I’m sharing my Blue Ginger Smoothie.This smoothie has a fresh, tart flavor full of zing thanks to the ginger and parsley. It packs quite a nutritional punch due to the high levels of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals in the ingredients. Blueberries are particularly high in anthocyanins, which have anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties. Interestingly, parsley is also a superfood — loaded with cancer-fighting volatile oils, cell-repairing flavonoids, and lots of vitamins and minerals.

Blue Ginger Smoothie

1 cup frozen blueberries

½ cup unsweetened pomegranate juice

½ lime (peeled)

½ inch fresh ginger (peeled)

1 green apple (cored)

1 cup rough chopped fresh parsley

Combine all ingredients and puree to a creamy consistency.
